Facelift52 is a small Chrome Extension designed to change the background on the Tumblr dashboard. I’ve seen a whole bunch of Tumblr themes but the thing I haven’t liked about them is you have to keep changing out the extension if you want the background to be different later down the road. Most of them have a set implemented background image they never change.

With Facelift52 I want to create an experience where the user of it, you, have some control over what background is displayed on the Tumblr Dashboard.

I’ve included a form below so you can submit ideas or images themselves if you would rather do it that way than sending an email to me.

So here are the details:

• The background will change once a week.
• The update will be sent to Google every Sunday around midnight EST.
• Backgrounds are chosen by you, whether designed by you or found by you.
• Send suggestions/designs to [email protected]
• If no suggestions are received I’ll design a background for that week.
